Daniel P. Lynn was born and raised in Berwick, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. He served six years on active duty as a United States Marine Corps infantry machine gunner and rifle marksmanship coach. In 1996 he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Anthropology and English Literature and earned a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2000. He is a member and twice past president of the Bloomsburg Kiwanis Club and is currently vice president of the Board of Directors of the Bloomsburg Public Library. A former Assistant Public Defender, he now serves as an Assistant District Attorney for Columbia County and is a graduate of Top Gun XVIII Undercover Counterdrug Enforcement school. He is a member and past president of the Columbia/Montour Bar Association and serves as a representative to the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Attorney Lynn is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
